By booking with The Brick & Beam Boutique Hotel, operated by 1001053430 Ontario Inc., you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment. A 50% deposit is charged when you book, which confirms your reservation, and the remaining 50% is charged automatically 14 days before check-in. Both payments are made online in the reservation's currency. By completing your booking, you authorize us to charge the payment method provided for these amounts. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. The guest completing the reservation must be at least 21 years old and stay on the premises for the duration of the booking.

2. Cancellations & Refunds. For direct bookings, cancellations 14 or more days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations 7 to 14 days before arrival receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 7 days before arrival are non-refundable, and the full booking amount is charged. No-shows are non-refundable. Reservations booked through an online travel agency or other third party follow the cancellation policy stated on that agency's confirmation. All changes or cancellations must be sent by email to info@thebrickandbeam.ca. Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days. For whole-property bookings (all four suites), a separate rental agreement applies, with a longer cancellation window (typically 60 to 90 days before arrival), and such bookings are treated as unconfirmed until we confirm them directly.

3. Check-In / Check-Out. Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. and check-out is by 11:00 a.m., as confirmed at the time of booking. Check-in is self check-in; your door code and details are sent on the morning of arrival. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request and may be subject to an additional fee. A minimum stay of 2 nights applies, with a 3-night minimum on peak dates and holidays. Each suite is cleaned before arrival. There is no daily housekeeping, and a mid-stay cleaning can be arranged for an additional fee.

4. Guest Conduct. Quiet hours are 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday. This is a shared historic building with other guests, so please keep noise down and treat the space with care. Registered guests only, and the number of guests may not exceed the booking. Unauthorized or over-occupancy guests are subject to a charge of $100 per guest per night and may result in termination of the stay without refund. Parties, events, and unauthorized gatherings are not permitted. The Brick & Beam is smoke-free. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property, and any smoking or vaping indoors will result in a $500 charge. Pets are not permitted. We aim to offer a scent-aware environment and keep artificial fragrance to a minimum. If you are sensitive to fragrance, let us know before your stay and we will take extra care. Children are welcome, and the Carmichael and the Hearth are our family-friendly suites, each with a bedroom and a pull-out sofa.

5. Damage & Liability. Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, or contents caused during their stay by anyone on the booking, beyond normal wear and tear, and are asked to report any damage promptly. The Brick & Beam reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for any damage, excessive cleaning, or policy violations. Guests take full responsibility for their own safety, security, and health, and that of any visitors or dependants with them. 1001053430 Ontario Inc. (operating as The Brick & Beam Boutique Hotel) shall not be held liable for any accident, injury, or loss sustained during a stay, including but not limited to loss due to fire, theft, or misconduct.

6. Chargeback & Payment Disputes. By completing a booking, you agree to contact us to resolve any billing concern before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Any dispute initiated in violation of these terms may be subject to additional administrative and recovery fees, where permitted by law.

7. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

A note from us. We keep our rules few and our welcome warm. These terms are here so every guest is looked after and the building is cared for. If anything about your stay is not right, tell us, and we will do our best to make it right.
